I have attached a new promotional poster for the Net Neutrality documentary.  We decided to play off of the "save the whales" idea.  We might use this in conjunction with the other poster with information about the premiere, etc.  

As we our documentary editing begins to wind down, we have started to think about how are going to promote our film.  We decided to create buttons, magnets, a flyer and a DVD case cover.  I have attached these documents and a picture of some of our buttons.  (Note:  I've had some trouble with the fonts used on the DVD cover; hopefully it opens because it's saved as a PDF).

We considering other means of promotion, too:

- sidewalk chalk to announce the premiere of our documentary

- creating t-shirts

This week we captured more footage to use in our documentary.  We spent some time in a campus computer lab filming footage for our introduction that Wes had a rough draft of (shown in class on Friday.)

What a week.  We got some interviews filmed and captured.  We had some conflicts of time so we couldn't get all of our interviews done, so we will have to finish up after spring break.  All in all we got 26 mins of footage.  Not too bad I think.  The uploaded video is at Vimeo and can be found... here!

We also worked on thinking of how we are going to arrange the film this week.  Wes did some work on making a little video montage that turned out pretty good.

Attached is both the documentary treatment and the storyboards. Both are a little rough since we don't have all our footage yet so the placement of everything is up in the air still.

This week we worked on getting a good set of questions to ask people we were going to interview. We got a good working set of questions to work with when interviewing.

To Professor: Based on your level of expertise and knowledge of the internet, do you feel that too much is available, shown, shared, allowed to be seen on the internet or do you think there could always be more?

This week we got a lot of planing done. Just about all of our ideas we finalized for the documentary can be found here. We have a good idea of what is needed, the only problem no is scheduling.

We have contacted some professors, but at least one isn't available to do an interview until after spring break(dangerously close to when our 'first draft' is due). I don't see that being to much of a problem as long as we get a decent amount of filming in during the next couple of weeks.

We are still working out some of our details, but for the most part, we have a good general idea of how we would like our documentary set up.
